Project-Based Internship: Media & Outreach for ISME (15 ECTS)

This project-based internship invites students to take part in a semester-long media production project for the MA Interdisciplinary Studies of the Middle East (ISME). Working in small, self-organized teams, participants will develop, produce, and finalize one or several short image films that present ISME to prospective students and the wider public.

The internship is hosted by the ISME program itself and focuses on science communication, cultural mediation, and collaborative project work. Students are expected to take responsibility for all stages of production, including research, concept development, scripting, filming, editing, subtitling, and final presentation.

The project mirrors professional workflows in media, cultural institutions, and academic communication, emphasizing teamwork, self-organization, and accountability.
